Last updated on JUNE 17, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On the ISIR Correction page, changes are made to student's data, and the SAI amount is recalculated.  When the newly calculated SAI amount exceeds $999.999, the left most digit is not displayed correctly.  The amount displays as ,999,999.  The expectation is the amount displayed will include the left most digit, and display as 9,999,999

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid, Federal Application Data, Correct ISIR Records;
  2. Select the student;
  3. Insert a new effective dated row, and make changes to cause the SAI amount to exceed 999,999;
  4. Click the Calc SAI button;
  5. Note the SAI Amount is now calculated in excess of 7 digits and displays as ,999,999.
