Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A monthly, salaried, non-exempt FLSA employee has a split Job Earnings distribution to two different combo codes. For each combo code, there is an amount going to REG and an amount going to a shift differential earnings code. The employee has a mid pay period Job change. When paycalc is run, it is causing a Divide by Zero Error in PSPECALC. The issue appears to be caused because the paycalc process is assigning the shift differential earning to a non-working day.

Steps to Replicate.

  1. Add Job Earnings Distribution to regular earnings and shift differential two different combo codes.

Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

        2. Insert a mid-pay period data change to Job Data.

Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

        3. Create paysheets

Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Create and Load Paysheets

       4.  Run payroll calculation

Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Product Payroll > Calculate Payroll
