Symptoms

Updating the California Withholding Allowance Certificate PDF and it is not allowed to edit the field 1a. Number of Regular Withholding Allowances (Worksheet A).

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Navigate to Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data and confirm the employee works in California.
  2. On Employee Self Service > Payroll > Tax Withholding > Form Tax (State) > Selected California Withholding Allowance Certificate.
    On opening the PDF document the 1a field is not editable.
