Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The data returned from the SELECT of NUMROWS on PS_PTAI_LISTID_VW is Unordered, so the range built for the subsequent SELECT on PS_PTAI_LISTID_VW is invalid.
For example, the clause “WHERE NUMROWS BETWEEN 36 AND 29” will never be true.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Manage Benefits Instances component for MS SQL Server.
2. Search for the Instances Updated On or After.
3. Notice that there are no Activity Guide Instances available even though the page shows 1- 2 of 2.
