EPY: Department Is Not Correct On Review Paycheck Page When Position Is Updated On Job Earnings Distribution (JED) Details on Job Data Page. (Doc ID 3031134.1)

Symptoms

The payment for prior position's work is using the new position's Department on the Review Paycheck.

This payment should be tagged with the prior position’s Department present on Job Earnings Distribution.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Navigate to > Workforce Administrator > Job Information > Job Data

Update Job Earnings Distribution (JED) details on Job data page: Update the position number and let other values default. Make sure the position numbers on Job and JED are different.

2. Navigate to Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Calculate Payroll.

Run the ‘Calculate Payroll’ process.

3. Navigate to Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Review Paycheck and select the paycheck.

It will display  the Other Earnings amounts in the incorrect position.
