How to upgrade PeopleSoft when using Oracle Database which has two Disaster Recovery (DR) sites and Data Guard is implemented?

Since PeopleTools is an Oracle application, we need your advice on how to proceed with the upgrade without risking the DR sites. Please consider the following options:

1. Stop replication on both DR sites before starting the upgrade, then restart replication on both DR sites after the upgrade is complete.
2. Stop replication on one DR site and keep it active on the second DR site during the upgrade, then restart replication on the first DR site after the upgrade is complete.
3. Keep replication active on both DR sites during the upgrade.
