E-IB: After Upgrading to PT 8.61.01 - 8.61.04, the Password Text Box is not Displayed when Trying to Enter a Node Password (Doc ID 3031395.1)

Symptoms

After Upgrading to PeopleTools (PT) 8.61 (8.61.01 - 8.61.04), when trying to enter a password on a node, the password text box is not displayed, thus not allowing the password to be entered.

 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Log into PeopleSoft
2. Navigate to Peopletools > Integration Broker > Node Definition
3. Search for any node
4. Attempt to set the password by setting the Node type to "External" and "Authentication Option" to "Password"
5. Observe that no text box options are available to type in the password/confirm password
