Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Display issue in new configurable address types feature for Fluid Self Service when the secondary address type shown is changed in Employee Self Service.
Instead of the default "Mailing" address, display one called "Weekly Commuter Address". However, the "No <type> Address exists" message used in the DESCR field is limited to 30 characters. Since XLAT values can also grow to 30 characters, this results in truncated text.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Foundation Tables > Personal > Personal Address Type > Personal Address Type
2. Click the "+" button and add an Address Type
3. Save
4. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Self Service > Address & Contact Type Config > Address Type Control
5. Add the Address Type created at step 2 (also put Type Control)
6. Save
7. Navigate to Employee Self Service > Personal Details > Addresses.
