Symptoms

When submitting an approval request, application server crashes. The error below is seen in the application server log (APPSRV_MMDD.LOG).

PSPAL.151966: Abort: Unexpected signal received

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Purchasing > Requisitions > Add/Update Requisitions.

2. Enter required fields.

3. Submit for approval.

4. Open the application server log, and observe the error above.
