Purpose
This document applies to PeopleSoft environments on PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.61.
Applying an Oracle Tuxedo patch (Microsoft Windows operating system) updates the Oracle Tuxedo installation directory and in addition, you must copy several binary files for Oracle Tuxedo 22.1.0.0.0 into PS_HOME.
If you have deployed the PeopleTools Client DPK, you must also copy the necessary files into the PeopleTools Client installation directory, referred to here as PS_CLIENT_HOME.
Microsoft Windows operating systems
If you have applied an Oracle Tuxedo rolling patch (RP) greater than RP009 using PT-INFRA DPK to a PeopleSoft environment, follow the instructions in Section 1 You Used the PT-INFRA DPK to Apply the Patch.
If you have applied an Oracle Tuxedo rolling patch (RP) greater than RP009 manually to a PeopleSoft environment, follow the instructions in Section 3 You Applied the Patch Manually.
Linux, AIX, HP-UX, or Solaris operating systems
If you have deployed a PS_CLIENT_HOME using the PeopleTools Client DPK on Microsoft Windows operating systems, follow the instructions in Section 2 You Used the PT-INFRA DPK for the PeopleTools Client.
If you did not deploy a PS_CLIENT_HOME, no actions are required for Linux, AIX, HP-UX, or Solaris operating systems. Do not proceed further.
