User That Does Not Have Authorization To Cancel The Requisition Still Able To Cancel It (Doc ID 3041008.1)

Symptoms


When adding an authorized requester to another user but removing the cancel option, application still allowing that requester to cancel the requisition and when trying to undo cancel system is generating a message that this user is not authorized to cancel.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to : Setup Financials/Supply chain > Common Definitions > User Preferences > Define User Preferences > choose user A and add user B in the "Requester user authorized for" section and don't check the cancel option.
  2. Sign in as User A.
  3. Navigate to : eProcurement > My Requisitions and change filters to view only requisition for user B.
  4. Try to cancel any requisition.
  5. System will allow to cancel.
  6. Now try to undo cancel.
  7. System will generate a message that this user is not authorized to cancel the requisition.
