Symptoms

HR Job Data Notepad shows a different format of the Effective Date field for Classic Notes versus Fluid Notes. This mismatch is causing issues in retrieving notes for a specific effective date when accessed through related action items notes.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup HCM > Common Definitions > Text Catalog and Notepad > Configure HR Notepad.
2. Click on Configure for the line HHR - JOB.
3. Add effective date and effective sequence field keys then save.
4. Navigate to Classic Job Data: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data : add notes on each effective date row (there should be 3).
5. Access Fluid Job Data: Manager Self Service Fluid Homepage > Manage Job Tile : The note icon indicates 3 rows which is correct.
6. Add a new Fluid note and Save it.
7. Go back to Fluid Job Data. The note icon indicates now 4 rows, try clicking this icon.
8. Hr Job Data page displays all the 4 notes but with different format for Effective Data field for Classic notes (YYYY-MM-DD) versus Fluid Notes (MM/DD/YYYY).
