EAP: One-Time Supplier's Last Modified By Field Not Updated After Voucher is Saved or Voucher Created By Voucher Build (Doc ID 3043609.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 25, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Payables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After saving an on-line Voucher for a One Time Supplier, on the Supplier > Summary page, the "Status" of the One-Time Supplier changes to Inactive and the "Last modified date" is updated. However, the "Last Modified By" field is not updated with the User ID of the User who created the Voucher.

This problem also occurs when an external Voucher for a One Time Supplier is created through Voucher Build.  The "Last Modified By" field should be updated with the User ID who ran Voucher Build.

STEPS TO REPLICATE
1. Log in as User ID = XXX
2. Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier - Create a new Supplier with Persistence = One Time
3. Once the Supplier is saved, on the Supplier > Summary page, the following fields are populated as follows:
    a. Status = Approved
    b. Last Modified By = XXX
    c. Last modified date = Current Date and Time
4. Log in as User ID = ZZZ
5. Accounts Payable > Vouchers > Add/Update > Regular Entry - Add a new Voucher for the One-Time Supplier created in Step 2
6. After saving the Voucher, on the Voucher > Summary page:
    a. Last Update = Date and Time the Voucher was saved
    b. Modified By = ZZZ
7. Supplier > Summary page, the following fields are populated as follows:
    a. Status = Inactive, which is correct
    b. Last modified date = Date and Time the Voucher was saved, which is correct
    c. Last Modified By = XXX, which is incorrect. It should have changed to ZZZ.
