Symptoms

Invalid decimal value error in Buyer Workcenter after viewing line details in Manage Requisition Approvals and clicking "Return to Previous Page".

An error occurred while initializing the requisition approval component. Invalid decimal value-- 263.56. (180,106) PV_REQ_APPROVAL.Activate PCPC:15615 Statement:204 %2 (18036,6232) PV_REQ_APPROVAL.Activate PCPC:17752 Statement:237


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Menu > Purchasing > Buyer WorkCenter
2. Access Manage Requisition Approvals page. Search for ‘Pending’ Requisitions and click on Requisition id
3. Click on item description
4. Click on Return to Previous Page
5. Getting the message "An error occurred while initializing the requisition approval component. Invalid decimal value -- 40.00. (180,106) PV_REQ_APPROVAL.Activate PCPC:15615 Statement:204 %2 (18036,6232) PV_REQ_APPROVAL.Activate PCPC:17752 Statement:237"
