Symptoms
After HCM PUM 48, the search for a combo code from the Task Profile chartfield detail search has increased significantly compared to prior PUM images. For user environments with large volumes of combination code rows in the system, this creates significant performance issues.
Steps to Recreate:
Navigation:
Set Up HCM > Product Related > Time and Labor > Task Configurations > Task Profile > Task Profile
1. Select a Task Profile ID.
2. Insert new effective dated row.
3. Add a new allocation row and adjust allocation percentages as needed.
4. On the HR and TL Elements tab, select a Business Unit and Customer.
5. On the ChartFields tab, click the ChartFields link.
6. On the ChartField Detail search page, click the Combination Code magnifying glass.
7. Note that it takes over 15 seconds for search results to appear.
