EPC: When Using Business Unit Security by Permission List, Project Update Wizard – Step 3 – Is Not Displaying Business Units in the List (Doc ID 3049295.1)

Symptoms

When using Business Unit security by Permission List, Project Update Wizard - Is Not Displaying Business Units at Step 3. The system is looking for the permission list on the Row Security, instead of the Primary.


Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options - Products and uncheck the products: Proposal Management, Program Management and Resource Management;

2. Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Activate Row-level Security and enable Business Unit security by Permission List;

3. Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Unit by Permission List and add accessible business units for the ALLPAGES permission list;

4. Navigate to PeopleTools > Security > User Profiles > User Profiles. Primary permission list is ALLPAGES. Row Security is empty;

5. Go to the Home page.

6. Open Projects Update Wizard under Project Management. Select Project Manager as the Update Type.

7. Fill out the values and click Next until step 3.

8. Open the Business Units list. No data is returned.
