ETL92: App Engine TL_VALUE_LIS Not Getting All The List IDs Based On List Type
(Doc ID 3049545.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2024
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The two delivered application engine programs TL_VALUE_LIS and TL_VALUE_PNL delivered to keep tables in sync does not appear to be working correctly. App Engine SQL only joins List ID key for fetching max effective date row. If user has same List ID name with different List Type, only max dated List ID gets synced.
List Type is key, but it is not joined in the inner SQL. This is causing the sync issue.
Steps to Recreate:
Navigation: Set Up HCM > Product Related > Time and Labor > Rules and Workgroups > Value Lists > Value Lists
1. Add new value.
2. Add a Paygroup List Type. List ID is “TLPLAB”. Dated 01/01/2002.
3. Add a Department List Type. The List ID name is same “TLPLAB”. Dated 01/01/2002. Used SetID – SHARE for Departments.
4. Verify data sync on Non-effective dated table.
A. Navigate to Non-effective dated Value List page:
B. Search for newly added values:
C. Verify both added values.
5. Navigate to Effective dated Value List page to add a new effective date row
A. Add a new row with current date.
B. Add another Dept to this list and Save.
6. Verify the data on Non-effective dated Value List page. Note: The search result shows 1 row. The Value List with Paygroup List Type data has been deleted by the AE process TL_VALUE_LIS and was not synced.
7. Go to Schedule Process Request to run the AE process TL_VALUE_LIS from the Process Monitor. Testing the Value List Data Sync from Effective date Value List to Non-effective date Value List. Note: The Value List data is still missing.
