Symptoms
When submitting a VC Award that needs approval on Allocate Awards by Plan page, the following PeopleCode error is received:
Parameter 2 of method SetURLBindValues of object class EONC_NOTIFICATIONS:Notification could not be converted to required type Array of Any. (180,227)
VC_AWDALC_SRCH.VC_PLAN_ID.Workflow PCPC:3439 Statement:48
In a call of the method, the parameter was not of the correct type and could not be converted to the correct type.
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Maintain Plan > Define Variable Comp Plan.
Make sure Include History is selected.
Change the "Plan End Date" to a future date.
Add a new effective date. On Plan Business Rules, choose "Empl VC Record" and check "Approve Awards" option. Choose a recipient.
On Play Payout Periods, add a new row and Save.
2. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Identify Eligible Recipients > Determine Eligibility.
Run Eligibility process for the specific Plan ID .
3. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Identify Eligible Recipients > Eligible Employees by Plan. Enter some employees and Save.
4. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Calculate Awards > Determine Allocation. Run the Allocation process.
5. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Calculate Awards > Calculate by Plan and run the Calculate By Plan process.
6. Navigate to Compensation > Variable Compensation > Finalize Awards > Allocate Awards by Plan.
Click on Search button. Enter 100.00 for an Actual Award, then change the Award Status to "R" for each employee. Save.
Result: The above error occurs.
