Symptoms
Chartfield security not working on AR Direct Journal Component
A user has setup Chartfield Security in Account chartfield using the delivered Chartfield security feature, but the feature is not working. In Spite of restricting the accounts that user can select to a small range, user is still able to select all accounts , even those not in specified range, on the Account lookup in AR Direct Journal accounting entries page.
Replication:
-----------------------
1. Setup chartfield security to grant access for account in range for direct journal component. (Setup financials > Security > Chartfield Security > Secure Chartfield options)
2. Create direct journal and direct journal accounting. (Receivables > Payments > Online Payments > Regular Deposits)
3. Create accounting Entries ( Receivables > Payments > Direct Journal Payments > Direct Journal Accounting Entries) Look up for account all account values are available to enter.
