EGL9.2.Copy Chartfield Security For a User Doesn't Allow Assignment Of Multiples Rules (Doc ID 3062803.1)

Symptoms

The Copy User Rule Assignment page doesn't display User IDs that have already been copied, leading to an incomplete view of available options.Users encounter difficulties in selecting and copying these previously copied User IDs, potentially resulting in improper assignments or configurations.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Chartfield Security > Maintain Security Rules > Copy CF Security for a User.
2. Select a User ID from which to copy user rule assignments and select the User ID or IDs to which you want to copy the user rule assignment.
3. Click the Copy button to copy the rule assignment.
4. Click the OK button
5. Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Chartfield Security > Maintain Security Rules > Assign Security Rule to User. Security rule ‘TES_RULE’ assigned to a ‘TEST_SEC’ are copied to ‘TEST_APPR’ , ‘TEST_APPR1’ and ‘TEST_FORM_APPR’ users successfully.
6. Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Chartfield Security > Maintain Security Rules > Copy CF Security for a User
7. Select a User ID from which to copy user rule assignments and then select the User IDs to which you want to copy the user rule assignment. Above copied User IDs are not visible on the User ID prompt under the Copy to Users sections
