Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Certain table or grid header elements are not associated with a corresponding row cell in the same table or grid.
This makes the context of the table very difficult to comprehend for screen reader users. When listening to row data, they receive no column header content reference.

When listening to the Administer Class Rosters table with a screen reader, it is very hard to have any context to the table data because there are not row headers and column headers are not associated with any row data

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Turn on JAWS.
2. Login into ELM with screen reader mode enabled or enable and save screen reader mode in My Preferences.
3. Select Talent Administrator from the left drop-down menu on the homepage.
4. Select Enterprise Learning.
5. Select Learner Tasks.
6. Select Administer Class Roster.
7. From the Search for Classes page select Learning Type > Select Classroom > Search.
8. From the returned search options, select a class that has a count greater than 0 for Total Attendances Marked and Total Graded.
9. Listed to a screen reader read out the contents of the Administer Class Rosters table.
