Symptoms

The Application Server boots up without any error messages, but users trying to connect to the Application Server get an error saying "Could not connect to Application Server <domain>. Possible causes are: the server name/IP address and port for the Application Server alias are incorrect, the Application Server is not booted, or the network is unreachable".
