Goal

Is there any way to update the base currency on a new BU ?

When User attempts to change the base currency for a business-unit (Business Unit just created but no transactions have been posted), the system displays a message:

"Base Currency may not be changed once Ledgers have been entered for a Business Unit (5000,148)
Once Ledgers have been established for a Business Unit ( on the Ledgers For a Business Unit panel) the Base Currency value may not be changed.
To change this value delete the Ledgers assigned to this Business Unit. Please note that Ledgers may not be deleted once entries to the Ledger have been made, therefore, no change to the Base Currency is possible once entries have been posted to a Ledger associated with this Business Unit. "
