Users are experiencing time outs on PS_AEONLINEINST table from time to time, when multiple users are running online Application Engine program.
Sometimes PS_AEONLINEINST is apparently causing deadlocks, when DBAs are monitoring performance and are finding that the table PS_AEONLINEINST is consistently locked causing other sessions to wait.
Why does this happen and how to resolve it?
