E-RD: Reports Do Not Post, Throw Error "java.lang.SecurityException: Illegal URL Redirect"

Symptoms
After installing or upgrading to PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49 and configuring the Process Scheduler to use HTTP report distribution, the reports do not transfer to the web server. The following authentication is configured correctly for the distribution agent:
-Userid that starts the Process Scheduler has the correct permissions.
-HTTP Report node is set correctly and the URL is configured to use the fully qualified name of the web server, the AuthtokenDomain value was also setup correctly in the Web Profile.
Despite the correct setup, the Distribution Agent was still returning the following information in the log file:
"Java exception thrown: java.lang.SecurityException: illegal URL redirect HTTP Status Code is: 902 (63,72)"
