E-IB: Get " Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address" on Load Gateway Connectors after IB Gateway URL Set to HTTPS (Doc ID 663817.1)

After having moved the Integration Broker gateway URL to HTTPS protocol, when trying to load the gateway connectors get the below errors:

1. In the web browser pop-up message box:

Integration Gateway: General Connection Failed (158,10836)

This error is thrown when there is no valid response.
Possible errors include:

Bad gateway URL
Sync Service Timeout set and Service actually timed out.
Java exception thrown - Check Application Server for possible Java exception.

2. In the App Server Log (APPSRV_mmdd.log file):

PSAPPSRV.352264 (108) [08/11/08 14:45:28 (IE 7.0; WINXP) ICPanel](1) (JNIUTIL): Java exception thrown: Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address

Note: The Trusted Nodes are working correctly with SSL and the Integration Gateway works fine when using plain HTTP (without SSL) instead of HTTPS.


Moved the Integration Broker gateway URL from plain HTTP protocol (without SS) to HTTPS protocol (to use SSL in data connections and transfers).
