Goal

Consider the following example :

Journal generate or Import a Journal with the following scenario

line 1: Foreign Amount and Monetary Amount of (5,10).
line 2: Foreign Amount and Monetary Amount (-8,-10)

base currency = foreign currency

When such a journal is batch edited, the journal goes to valid. The journal is marked valid even though it has lines with monetary amount not the same as foreign amount and this journal then gets posted successfully .

Posting the above journal creates the following entry in ledger ,

PTrA, PBA, PTA (5,5,5)
PTrA, PBA, PTA (-8,-8,-8)

Where
PTrA: Posted Transaction Amount
PBA: Posted Base Amount
PTA: Posted Total Amount

When Trail Balance (GLS7012) is run it will show an out of balance state.
