Goal

In process of upgrading from a pre-8.48 PeopleTools release to 8.48 or 8.49 and having issues with routing messages via a shared gateway. In the old pre-8.48 PeopleTools, SOAP request can be authenticated and routed by shared gateway if you properly construct the SOAPAction header, but this method fails in the new PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49.

The questions are:
1. Is there a way to mimic the old pre-8.48 routing in PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49?
2. Can SOAPAction routing be used to avoid Hub and Default Application Server handling of CI-based web services in PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49?
3. How to handle web service authentication in PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49?
