Troubleshooting Pick Plans (INS6000 SQR Report)) Failures and Tips to Process the Blocked Demand Lines (Doc ID 885614.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
This Knowledge Document does not apply to releases >= 8.9. The INS6000 report has been redesigned in release 8.9 and it does not contain any business logic anymore. For example, the quantity allocation logic got moved to PeopleCode. Printing the INS6000 report has become an option.

Purpose

When the Pick Plan (INS6000 SQR report) fails the following can happen:

* other fulfillment processes such as the 'Picking Confirmation' process (INPBCONF) or the 'Deplete On Hand Qty' process (INPDDEPL) cannot process the demand lines which whould have been printed on the report,

* the demand lines are still marked as 'Reserved' in the 'Stock Requests' inquiry page (navigation: Inventory, Fulfill Stock Orders, Review Fulfillment Information, Stock Requests).

* the below error is issued when trying to use the 'Unreserve Stock Requests' page (navigation: Inventory, Fulfill Stock Orders, Stock Requests) to unreserve the demand lines:

The search results include records being updated by another process. (11100,1932)
