Posting of Journal Entry takes about 30-90 seconds for a 2-line entry.
It takes a lot longer for larger entries.

Navigational Path:
General Ledger > Journals > Create/Update Journal Entries >Enter Business Unit and click ADD (this will take a long time already) > Lines tab > click Speed Type > mark PREV and click OK > Process button to Edit journal > choose Post Journal.

During testing users had gotten use to Demo only taking a second or two. It seems like most of the increased time is in waiting.

How can we reduce the amount of time the journal edit and/or the journal post processes spend waiting?

The two line entry below is from the SCHDLR log file. It shows that
there are 15 seconds between the first line and second line that is
unaccounted for.
