Symptoms

In PeopleTools 8.48 or later, trying to make a Component Interface as a Web Service. Gone through the Integration Broker steps/pages of Provide Web Service Wizard, and the WSDL is successfully exported. But on trying to access the generated WSDL in Internet Explorer or another web browser, an error is received as detailed below:

http://<PIA-WebServer>:PIA_PORT/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/CI_TEST_XX.1.wsdl

The error received:

Retrieval of WSDL failed for wsdl name: CI_TEST_XX.1. (2,887) PT_INTEGRATION.GetWSDL.OnExecute Name:OnRequest PCPC:1627 Statement:33
