Loyalty Tier Promotion Setup (Doc ID 1118573.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 06, 2021

Applies to:

Siebel Loyalty Manager - Version 8.1.1.1 SIA [21211] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

User has 6 Tiers (Red Tier,Silver Tier, Gold Tier, Elite Gold Tier, Elite Platinum Tier, Honorary Elite)

When member joins the Loyalty Program, he would be awarded the Red Tier which is Primary Tier.
And the Member should be in a Tier of at least 6 months, for example: If member joins on May 11th 2010, he would be awarded Red Tier and remains in Red Tier till Nov 30th
even though Tier Processing happens on the 1st of Every month.i.e., Member should not be upgraded to the next possible tier even if the Member has the points to qualify for the next possible tier.

Loyalty System has to capture the Tier points from May 11th to Nov 30th of the Member, On Dec 1st Tier Processing of the
Member, Loyalty System has to assign the best tier based on the average of the last 6 months Tier Points accumulated.

To achieve this functionality, the following has been tried:

User has given the following attributes like Start Qual Period as "1st Day of Month" and
Restart Qual Period as "Qualifying Period Expiration" in the Tier Class definition and
created the Tier promotion in a such a way that Tier Promotion should check for the Min and Max tier points and Next Assessment Run Date
is greater than the End Date of the Tier so that Member will not be consider for the tier promotion till the 6 months
period is done as per our requirement.

However the Assessed Next Tier, Next Tier Assessed Date and Qual Period End Date field are not been set during this process.

What is the alternate way to achieve this requirement as the OOTB Tier functionalities provided does not suit the user's requirement?
