Sqlgen failed to load shared libraries: libX11.so.6 and libXext.so.6 (Doc ID 1133827.1)

Symptoms

While running the Database configuration wizard during upgrep, it failed while executing sqlgen command. The command that was executed was the following:

sqlgen /x /opt/siebel/dbsrvr/oracle/upgfile.xml /g /opt/siebel/dbsrvr/ENU/upglocale.enu /m /opt/siebel/siebsrvr/bin/master_install.ucf /v /opt/siebel/dbsrvr/common/versions.txt

After launching this in the command line, the result was:

error while loading shared libraries: libX11.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
