Getfile Method Fails With Error "SBL-UIF-00230" When Code Deployed to a Multi-Siebel Server Environment

Symptoms
It is found that custom Siebel scripting that accesses a file attachment from the Siebel File System using the standard GetFile method of the attachment buscomp, is not working when application is deployed to a multi Siebel server environment.
The same code is working fine with a single Siebel server deployment.
When calling the GetFile method, the result is the following error:
SBL-UIF-00230 "The file %1 could not be found on any specified file system"
