This customer had more than 145 million records in Audit Trail table. The data, Log and temp files are sitting on separate drives and hardware is sufficiently sized.
As an outcome of a recent volume test, they found some problems when inserting/updating Contacts, Service Requests, Activities, etc., but only when the system is under load e.g. > 100 users and not with few users. The users are experiencing delays of up to 50 seconds for an insert/updates whilst stepping off the record.
