Symptoms

While running Siebel BIP reports the report generation fails with XML conversion errors. However the data is displayed correctly on the Siebel UI.




Steps to Reproduce

1. Install and configure Siebel CRM 8.1.1.x and BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1

2. Configure Siebel-BIP integration as per Reports Guide

3. Create a custom report and run it on a multi-byte data set. e.g. Japanese, Arabic etc.

4. The report generation fails and the XML conversion errors comes up.
