Symptoms

When attempting to call an outbound web service over SSL(HTTPS) using mutual authentication the following error occurs.


ObjMgrLog Error 1 0000027b4e120f2c:0 2011-07-05 08:58:58 (httptransport.cpp (1631)) SBL-EAI-04116: HTTP Internet Exception during 'Data Send': '', code: '12057'


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup mutual authentication as per Configuring SSL Mutual Authentication with EAI HTTP Transport/Outbound Web Services (Doc ID 560965.1)
2. just call the outbound web service
3. notice the error (httptransport.cpp (1631)) SBL-EAI-04116: HTTP Internet Exception during 'Data Send': '', code: '12057'
