Setting "Enable Event History Facility" (EnableEventHistory) = True On EAI OM Component Generates Many Records Into The S_SRM_TASK_HIST Table (Doc ID 1370150.1)

When the component parameter "Enable Event History Facility" (EnableEventHistory) = True is set for the EAI OM component, it generates many records into the S_SRM_TASK_HIST table.

It creates a record into this S_SRM_TASK_HIST table for every EAI transaction, causing this table to grow.

When this parameter "Enable Event History Facility" (EnableEventHistory) was set to False, the data stopped inserting into the S_SRM_TASK_HIST table.

Are there any negative impact to turning off this parameter? Would it cause any interruptions to the actual EAI tasks or transactions?
