The Siebel Loyalty Engine is in charge to process a huge amount of data and it might show a bad performance and work with a limited scalability due to:
- Stale, bad plans and non-optimal statistics on the database;
- Non optimal setup of Siebel Server and LOY Engine parameters;
This is most likely to be seen when using the LOYBatchEngine component, but can also be seen using the LOYRealtime and LOYInteractive components.
The purpose of this document is to provide the most common root causes and main actions that should be taken by customers and partners when facing Siebel Loyalty Performance issues.
