Using Certifications on My Oracle Support for Siebel CRM Products (Doc ID 1492194.1)

Beginning with Siebel versions and and future versions 15.x, 16.x, 17.x,  information previously published in the Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms (SR&SP) guides has been integrated within Certifications on My Oracle Support. Certifications on My Oracle Support is a self-service, certification application, part of My Oracle Support (MOS), that provides a structured display of certification data. You can search by platform, release version, product, and more.







Certification information will be maintained in Certifications on My Oracle Support rather than in a separate document. Other information previously in the SR&SP document, such as supported languages and hardware, has been published in articles on My Oracle Support. See the reference list below for links to these articles.

Certifications on MOS is a supplemental tool that provides access to only the most common Siebel CRM certifications. It does not replace the Certification Central Hub or documentation on Siebel Bookshelf on Oracle Technology Network (OTN). Both Certifications on MOS and Certification Central Hub on OTN will co-exist and be maintained together. You can use either to look up Siebel CRM product certifications, depending on your requirements.

Product releases versions and and later will be added to Certifications on MOS. There are no plans to add certification content from earlier releases to Certifications on MOS. Certification information for such earlier releases will remain in the System Requirements and Supported Platforms Documentation Library on Oracle Technology Network (OTN).

Obtain Certification Information from My Oracle Support

My Oracle Support has a Certifications tab where you can look up certifications by product and platform. For more information, see Certification Quick Links within MOS Certifications.

Use Certifications On MOS

Before you navigate to the Certifications tab on MOS, you should first understand the scope of Certifications on MOS for Siebel CRM products. Certifications on MOS does not include certification content for all versions or products. Current support within the  application is for only and or later releases of Siebel CRM products.

In the Certification Search area, choose the appropriate Siebel product module from the Product drop-down list. The Product category in Certifications includes the various server and applications that are part of the larger suite of Siebel Enterprise Applications.

Important: Search on Certifications on MOS is case-sensitive and works best when you enter products as described below.

Products with certifications data within the Siebel Enterprise group include the following:

Note:  Where applicable, Siebel components are certified up to the database layer, and it is up to the database vendor to certify its database product up to the Operating System layer where they are supported.  For example: Siebel Enterprise release IP2017 is certified with Microsoft SQL Server 2016.  However, the Operating System versions where this release of SQL Server is supported must be certified by Microsoft. The compatibility information provided in Certifications tab are same for the respective Innovation Pack Patchsets.
