Siebel Server 8.1.1.x may not generate ODBC trace. (Doc ID 1500171.1)

Symptoms

In certain case, it is necessary for Siebel Server to generate ODBC trace. Using Windows Server platform, it can be done by "ODBC Data Source Administrator" tool > "Tracing" tab > "Start Tracing Now" button. Then Siebel Server service needs to be restarted.

However, ODBC trace may not be generated even after Siebel Server service is restarted.
