Siebel Proposal Performance Issue - Proposal Generation Takes More Than 30 Min to generate the draft.
Changes
After making changes with the bellow parameters,
srvrmgr> change param MSWordLiveCount=1 for comp docserver
srvrmgr> change param HonorMaxTasks=True for comp docserver
srvrmgr> change param MaxTasks=1 for comp docserver
Server configuration > Enteprise > In the Profile configuration, go to ServerDataSrc and query for " DSMaxFetchArraySize " (advanced parameter ) and set the value to " 0 "
The Performance got improved from 40 min to 20 min. However, this timeframe is still not acceptable as the end user is forced to wait 20 minutes to have his proposal draft created.
