Last updated on NOVEMBER 11, 2019

Applies to:

Siebel eCommunications Call Center - Version 8.0 [20405] and later
Linux x86-64

The following error message was encountered for various different shared libraries:

Error Message: SBL-DAT-00170: The DLL could not be loaded for various libraries

The behavior was intermittent and also the name of the shared library could vary.

Please note that although the system is running on Linux, always the Windows notation of a shared library (ending in .dll and not in .so) is displayed in the log file.

When running the Linux "pmap <pid>" command, it could be observed that whenever the issue occured, a stack size of almost 2 GB could be seen.

The stack size in a pmap output does look like this example:

Occasionally, core dumps with the same call stack also have been encountered.
