How to Disable Updates on S_PARTY/S_USER Tables During Logoff (Doc ID 1665762.1)

Goal

When there are several processes running that perform login/logoff concurrently using same user e.g. inbound EAI requests or workflows in WFProcMgr component it can generate contention or wait times on S_USER/S_PARTY tables once an update is issued to these tables during logoff.

The SQL issued during logoff is like:

 When this SQL block is executed by many processes in parallel it can cause contention on these tables and impact overall performance for these processes.
