Link Added in SWELogin.swt file Causes Javascript Error In swecommon.js File (Doc ID 1671981.1)

Symptoms

According to business requirements, edited the design of login page in Siebel a little. Changed the background image and added links from Siebel Loyalty to Siebel Marketing and vice versa. Only HTML tags - no Javascript coding.
Encountered the following problems:

1. Upon opening Loyalty login page, navigate to Marketing login page and click on the link added.
2. Marketing login page opens in a new IE window. Seeing javascript error in IE left bottom corner. Error invokes from swecommon.js file. Upon ignoring this error and login into Siebel all the same - future work in interface will be incorrect.

This error appears independent of whether going from Loyalty to Marketing or vice versa.
