Audit Trail on joined fields works only when the source field and join field are activated (Doc ID 1679937.1)

Symptoms

 If you set up Audit Trail on a simple field such as Single Value Field, it works fine even though the field is not activated (it doesn't have to be displayed on a view). But if you set up Audit Trail on a joined field, it does not work unless the following two conditions are met.

- The joined field has to be activated

- The source field for the join has to be activated.
