Symptoms

When trying to copy a Contact record with associated addresses, the following unique constraint errors display:

 
STEPS

1. Create a New Contact with a new address: Create Contact A with Address A.
2. Copy this Contact: Copy Contact A to Contact B.
3. Add address(es) to the copied contact: Add address B to Contact B.
4. Copy this copied Contact: Try to copy Contact B.

Result: ORA-00001: unique constraint (SIEBEL.S_CON_ADDR_U1) violated.
