SSL For POP3 (MS Exchange 2010) is Failing On Siebel 8.1.1.10 , getting ERROR:Timeout reading data from socket. (Doc ID 1932712.1)

Symptoms

Customer has 56 mailboxes, and when converting one of them to SSL, Siebel is unable to pull the message from 2010 MS Exchange server.

Filename =PO3 log file
See the following error:

POP3SMTP[10/04/2014 16:03:01]:DBG:unlocked access to POP3 client, failed to retrieve message 1
POP3SMTP[10/04/2014 16:03:01]:ERROR:Timeout reading data from socket
POP3SMTP[10/04/2014 16:03:01]:ERROR:Unable to copy input stream to output stream
POP3SMTP[10/04/2014 16:03:01]:DBG:Retrieved 0 total messages in this POP3SMTP session
