New button is enabled for stand alone Position and allowing user to click new button in turn thrown error message in My Teams Quote view

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

New button should be disabled for stand alone Position in My Teams Quote view

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Siebel Application
2. Logged in user position should be stand alone position (user position
should be parent/child position to other position)
3. Go to Quote screen and select My Teams Quote view
4. New button is enabled and upon click on button below error message is displayed

You may not add a record here. Either you do not have the necessary permission or there is a business rule restriction. For instance, the No Insert property of the Siebel repository applet object or the business component that it uses may be set to TRUE.
