The Siebel CRM application does not launch in a timely manner.
After rebooting the system, the Siebel Home page does not display, as expected. Users enter their credentials and the application displays the spinning circle for about 3 to 5 minutes.
The issue appears to be related to the loading of the Home page tab. After the application finally displays, navigating to other tabs works, as expected. However, clicking the Home page tab starts the same cycle of the spinning circle.
The issue only occurs with the customized application in Production: the issue cannot be reproduced in lower (Development / Test) environments.
The issue occurs with or without Single Sign-On.
1. Launch the High Interactivity Siebel CRM FINS or Call Center application.
2. Enter login credentials.
Result: The initial "Launching Oracle" pop-up displays for about 3-5 minutes before the main Siebel screen is available.
3. Navigate to another tab.
Result: No performance issue.
4. Navigate back to Home page.
Result: Once again, there is a long delay (performance issue) navigating back to Home.
